I am a Business & Production Consultant and Trainer with 20 years experience in the unscripted TV industry ranging from shiny floor entertainment shows to single docs to fact ent formats and everything in between.  My role has encompassed writing budgets and schedules, broadcaster negotiation, legal and compliance, and team recruitment and management.

In addition to overseeing productions and production support, I have provided valuable consultancy services, including: aiding small indies during periods of growth by establishing robust systems, processes and policies; assisting in writing bids and tenders; working with Senior Management at a post production house to review and improve management and ensure resourcing is working effectively across the business, particularly for project and client management; working with a crewing platform to expand both (paying) membership and production users.

I have recently expanded my expertise to include training, successfully designing and delivering courses in production management.  I am passionate about empowering individuals to excel in their professional roles and have mentored many freelancers in the industry.

When I’m not immersed in the world of telly I can generally be found in the great outdoors - kayaking, hiking, mountain biking or at gigs and festivals.
